'Trapped in a Dreadful Dream': Families of Unaccounted For Teenagers Desperately Seek News After Ski Resort Blaze
The loved ones of teens missing after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are confronting an excruciating wait for confirmed information and pleading for information about their loved ones publicly.
The blaze engulfed the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Circulated footage reveal the ceiling igniting as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.
Officials have indicated that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which resulted in the death of 40 people and wounded another scores more. A spokesperson said on the latest update that the majority of the injured have been identified, with efforts ongoing to name the remaining few.
In the interim, relatives have been posting on the internet to plead for any news about their friends who were at the bar that night.
Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For
The whereabouts of Swiss national Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are currently unknown, according to an appeal from his parent.

His parent, reportedly stated that his son was at the bar and was last heard from around the new year. An representative has clarified that a official announcement of his death is still pending.
Additional Missing Individuals
Giovanni Tamburi, 16, is also unaccounted for. His parent told reporters that he had been on holiday but had gone out with friends and ended up at the venue.
