The loved ones of teens missing after a deadly inferno at a bar in a Switzerland's ski resort are confronting an excruciating wait for confirmed information and pleading for information about their loved ones publicly.

The blaze engulfed the a popular bar in the alpine resort, located in the Alps of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of January 1st. Circulated footage reveal the ceiling igniting as bottles with sparklers are held aloft.

Officials have indicated that it could take an extended period to identify the those who perished of the disaster, which resulted in the death of 40 people and wounded another scores more.
