The rising star has substantial social media following
The young golfer will have multiple high-profile backers as she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.
This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, obtained a special exemption to participate at Florida's Annika event in the Sunshine State.
The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous international courses and frequently matches against Kai.
"He's fairly competent. I shouldn't elaborate but we have tight competitions," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."
"My grandpa basically told me to go out there and relax," she added.
"From my perspective, he's just an ordinary family member. He can't make it this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, making him somewhat preoccupied."
While still amateur, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments recently and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
Yet she can receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with Kai's mother.
"He represents the best player globally," Kai stated.
"And he's a superior person. He told me to play, have fun, and go with whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several top competitors in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.
The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence brings the sport to wider groups, particularly among the next generation.
The young star has substantial online presence and has started an exclusive fashion and living company.
The competition starts at 5:30 PM GMT.
