Actor Denies Anti-Vaxxer Position Following Voicing Disputed Coronavirus Film

Liam Neeson has lent his narration to a recent film that casts doubt on the efficacy of immunizations and lauds ex- cabinet secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr.

The Film's Provocative Basis

Called "Plague of Corruption," the documentary is inspired by a bestselling book published by Judy Mikovits, who rose to infamy during the global outbreak for assertions that Covid was a result of a problematic version of the influenza shot.

Her writing partner, a producer, has also written books with conspiracy-prone radio host Alex Jones. The producer took to social media praising Neeson's involvement in the documentary.

A Strong Statement

Representatives for Liam Neeson have released a comment strongly denying suggestions that he supports anti-vaccine beliefs.

"Everyone can acknowledge that corruption might be present within the medical sector, but that cannot be conflated with rejection of vaccines," the comment explains. "Neeson is not, and remains not, against vaccines. His long work with Unicef reinforces his consistent support for public-health initiatives."

The response continued that the actor was not involved in crafting the film's narrative and that concerns about its assertions are best addressed to the producers.

Key Themes Within the Feature

According to the documentary, the script read by Neeson includes several strong points:

  • It suggests that pro-vaccine voices have demanded "unconditional submission" to public institutions.
  • It declares that "research has become deeply politicized."
  • Kennedy is interviewed claiming, "The major issue with vaccines is that they simply are not properly vetted."
  • It also criticizes Covid lockdowns, arguing they caused psychological harm that led to the loss of thousands of lives.
  • On the topic of pandemic shots, it references a perspective that they were "rushed to market" and seen as "hazardous tests."

Historical Context and Recent Issues

The film also references a past television report about clinical trials on children, which was afterwards the subject of a BBC apology by the network for unbalanced reporting.

Last month, RFK Jr directed the national health agency to change its long-held position that there is no connection between immunizations and autism. This supposed link is echoed in the film, despite a recent study from the global health body reiterating no evidence has been found.

A Previous Record of Endorsement

Standing in contrast to the documentary's message, Neeson has in the past voiced clear advocacy for vaccines in his capacity as a charity ambassador.

Previously, he described vaccines as "an incredible achievement," noting that "The debate about vaccines in lately has lost sight of how much benefit they have done... It is perhaps one of the biggest shared accomplishments in human history."

The documentary finishes with Neeson's voice saying, "This is not the end of our journey. It is the dawn of a fresh chapter."
